- Type: Ia supernova, confirmed by spectral analysis with best match to “normal” SN Ia (zₕₒₛₜ ≈ 0.002722, or ~40–45 million light-years distance)
- Host Galaxy: NGC 7331, an edge-on spiral galaxy in the constellation Pegasus, sometimes referred to as a Milky Way analogue. Its apparent magnitude is ~10.4
- Discovery Date: 14 July 2025 by the GOTO robotic survey (Gravitational-wave Optical Transient Observer)
